The title "Blueprint" represents the technical approach to this studio album. It emerged from the idea of combining the music with a storyline that goes beyond a nebulous lyrical theme. By combining his penchant for the art of screenwriting and film music, Ferry has conceived "Blueprint" as a concept release to give a broader perspective to his musical vision.

Here, Ferry Corsten delves into various science fiction works by writers such as Hugo Gernsback and H. G. Wells, giving them a new sonic robe.

Ferry Corsten's desire to create an album that offers the listener a comprehensive musical experience became reality with "Blueprint" on Pure Audio Blu-ray. The successful DJ, producer and remixer has teamed up with sound engineer Ronald Prent to transform his album into a comprehensive 9.1 musical journey in AURO-3D.
