The main Christmas fairy tale, an essential part of the New Year holidays, wonder and magic, anticipation and expectation of the holiday, brilliant and beloved music – all this is The Nutcracker. The ballet, based on Hoffmann's fairy tale, is loved by audiences for good reason; magic truly comes to life on the theatre stage every time the first bars of Tchaikovsky's music are heard.
